Arsenal manager Unai Emery is looking to strengthen several areas of his squad this summer but with an allocated £45million transfer budget he has been restricted as to which players he can target.
The Spanish boss is short one forward in his squad after making the decision to allow the injury prone Danny Welbeck to leave the club after his deal expired in June.
As a result Emery could be tempted by Real Madrid’s offer of Mariano Diaz, who they are willing to let leave Spanish capital for a reduced fee of just £18m.
